Texas Health Recovery and Wellness Center

As a trusted partner to Texas Health Resources, the design and construction team at Beck worked with the health system to create a comprehensive wellness center on a 25-acre site. The team started with a master planning process to site the new facility, which would become a large sprawling building that integrates seamlessly with the grading. The integrated team utilized Lean project management principles including weekly work plans, pulling planning, and A3s to organize the project to deliver on time and on budget.Patients, staff, and visitors are welcomed to this campus which features rolling hills that are landscaped for a serene campus feel that promotes respite. Inside, those seeking professional help to resolve addictions are able to experience recovery through an evidence-based residential addition treatment program. Both adults and adolescents who come to the facility voluntarily, either for inpatient or outpatient services, participate in addiction education, individual and group counseling, and activities amidst amenities such as a yoga studio, massage therapy, movie room, fitness room, large gym, and a swimming pool.
