LOCATION

Deerfield Beach, Florida

SERVICES PROVIDED

Architecture, Medical Equipment Planning

The Broward Health North Medical Office Building is a six-story, 125,000-square-foot facility designed to centralize outpatient services on a single, modern campus in Deerfield Beach. By consolidating these services, Broward Health freed up valuable space in the main hospital for future expansion.

Beck, in collaboration with local diverse partner, DMZ Architects, led the design and provided interior design, medical equipment planning, and project estimating services. Inspired by the iconic Deerfield Beach lighthouse, the building’s architecture symbolized hope and guidance while reflecting the coastal beauty of South Florida.

The facility initially houses 75 exam rooms equipped with state-of-the-art technology, specializing in cardiovascular care, neuroscience, and orthopedics. Designed for flexibility and growth, the standardized clinic floor plan allows for future expansion, accommodating up to 123 exam rooms. Each floor features adaptable layouts that can be replicated as needed to optimize efficiency and enhance patient and staff experiences.

This project set a new benchmark for healthcare, creating a modern, efficient space that meets the growing community’s needs for years to come.
